KXU's Terms and Conditions

KXU (“The Studio”) is a pay-as-you-go group fitness and wellness facility located at 241 Pavilion Road, London SW1X 0BP (“The Premises”) and is owned by KXU Ltd (“The Company”).

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Website, purchase of Goods, and use of Services. By accessing or using our Website, booking Classes, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. ABOUT THESE CONDITIONS

These Terms apply to all clients, members, and users of our Website or Services.

The Website, Goods, and Services are provided by KXU Ltd (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”).

When we refer to “you”, “U” or “your,” we mean the user, purchaser, or client.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on our Website. Please review the Terms regularly.

2. DEFINITIONS

Class – Any exercise class provided by us at the Studio.

Conditions – These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time.

Credit – Credits purchased via our KXU app, via our website or phone, and used to book Classes, Events, Courses or Treatments.

Goods – Products or services available for sale at our Studio.

Client – Any person using the Studio’s Goods or Services.

Services – Services available via the Website and KXU app, including Classes, Events, Courses or Treatments.

3. CLIENT REQUIREMENTS

All clients must be 18 years or older.

Clients must follow the Studio rules, etiquette, and these Terms.

Clients must be in good physical condition and capable of participating in exercise or wellness programmes safely. Any change in physical condition must be reported to the General Manager.

 

4. CLASS PACKAGES

Standard class packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Promotional packages have separate Terms advertised at the time of purchase.

All class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

5. CLASS CANCELLATION

12-hour cancellation policy: Cancel a class at least 12 hours before it starts to retain your credit.

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the class forfeit the credit.

 

6. PERSONAL TRAINING & BEAUTY AND WELLNESS APPOINTMENTS

24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule Personal Training or Medi-Spa appointments.

Single sessions, treatments, and packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

7. LATE ENTRY POLICY

Clients must arrive on time and be signed in before the class starts. Late entry is permitted only within 2 minutes; entry after this window will not be allowed. Missed classes due to late arrival are non-refundable, non-transferable, and any credit used will be forfeited.

No refunds will be given for missed classes due to late arrival. Missed classes are non-transferable. Any credit used to book the class will be forfeited.

 

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Studio, Company, and their employees are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal property on the premises.

We are not responsible for death or injury unless caused by negligence of the Studio, Company, or their employees.

 

9. OPENING HOURS

Standard opening hours are listed on the Website.

The Studio may change opening hours or close facilities for cleaning, repairs, maintenance, or events.

Special hours may apply on public or bank holidays.

 

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Studio may vary, add, or remove services or facilities, including class timetables and instructors.

Only Studio Personal Trainers may provide training on-site.

Lost property will be logged and stored securely:
– Personal items: 1 week
– Valuables: 1 month
– Unclaimed items may be donated to charity

 

11. STUDIO ACCESS & CHECK-IN

Entry is gained via the Front Desk by providing your name at reception. You must check in before entering a class or Open Gym.

Access to classes is restricted to adults 18+. Proof of age may be required.

 

12. CLASS ETIQUETTE

Clients must arrive on time and be signed in before the class starts. Late entry is permitted only within 2 minutes; entry after this window will not be allowed. Missed classes due to late arrival are non-refundable, non-transferable, and any credit used will be forfeited.

Mobile phones, messaging apps, or other electronic distractions are strictly prohibited during class. The focus should remain on exercise, safety, and the flow of the session.

Clients may take photographs or selfies before or after class only. Photography during the session is not permitted to avoid distractions.

Appropriate workout attire must be worn at all times. Shirtless training or clothing that does not meet hygiene or safety standards is not permitted.

Clients must maintain high personal hygiene and wipe down any equipment after use.

Clients are required to return all equipment to the designated racks and storage areas immediately after use, including following any “Open Gym” sessions.

 

13. MEDI-SPA ETIQUETTE

Clients must wear underwear at all times during spa treatments.

Clients should arrive 10–15 minutes prior to their appointment to allow sufficient time for completing any required consent or health forms.

All clients are expected to behave respectfully toward spa staff and other clients. Disruptive behaviour may result in termination of the appointment without refund.

Clients are asked to maintain personal hygiene standards to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for themselves and others.

 

14. HEALTH & SAFETY

Clients must complete a Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire before exercising.

Personal Training clients are not required to enter into a formal agreement; however, individual personal trainers may, at their discretion, request that clients sign an agreement directly with them.

Guidelines:
– Avoid drugs or alcohol before exercise.
– Receive instruction before using equipment.
– Shower before using the infra-red sauna; no products allowed in sauna.
– Food and drinks are restricted to the Nutrition Bar.
– Wear suitable clothing and supportive footwear.

 

15. ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS

All accidents or incidents must be reported immediately to a member of staff.

Serious incidents may be referred to third parties for investigation.

 

16. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Clients must update KXU with changes to contact details, payment methods, or address.

 

17. SMOKING

Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors and discouraged outside the entrance.
